I have a piece in today’s Los Angeles Review of Books on the nascent-formed Occupy Harvard, the ‘indefinite’ 24-hour lockdown of Harvard Yard, and campus divisions over the encampment (which I argue are positive). The road to Wall Street paves through several major (and ‘elite’) research universities. Will an alter-model be tolerated?
